So much hilariousness in this article. But this " one of those swishy lids that no one ever likes to touch since its delicately fondled everything the family has thrown out for the past forever since it was purchased at your generic big box store. Leaving even accidental touches feel like a def con 5 event" I surprised laughed and had to read it again in case I missed part of it. And then laughed again. I don't know how you can pack so much into a sentence where I can't finish it because I'm laughing too much. Love your humour!!

Little known fact about Chickens, Thorn, is that we are genetically predisposed to being excellent at organization. If we but had opposable thumbs, we would have built towering monuments across creation to our old Gods and principalities. Maybe that is why we don’t. And why our eggs aren’t square and lego like.

Nature is a cruel mistress Thorn!

We need more tunnels to the Earth's core. I don't know why this hasn't been a thing yet.

In my extensive geographic and political research, I would postulate that it is due to the ongoing territorial conflicts between the lizard people, balrogs, ground gnomes, dwarves, and other unnamed esoteric parties. I am confident that once a binding peace accord can be hammered out, us surface peoples can resume negotiating the egresses to construct a trash chute of epic proportions!

Though it would probably need an automatic lid opener. Talk about a shot of lemon to the eye.

"A silken vortex straight to mediocrity." Sounds amazing!

Ah it does, doesn’t it! And that is the trap! Like a delicious dumpling with an unexpectedly tragic filling inside. A pho soup dumpling full of peanut butter and chives, because someone at the factory decided to get creative, and left an unfortunate consumer to pay the tab.
